You need the following things to work with Facebook Event Importing using the API.

  • Facebook app (Here is how to create FB app)
  • Your site needs to have HTTPS (SSL certificate)
  • You need to mark events as interested or going on Facebook to get imported

You can also import Facebook events using our plugin with the Facebook ICS URL. You can check the documentation for how to get the iCal URL or download the .ics file from Facebook here

WP Event Aggregator Pro Installation

  1. Install the basic free version of this plugin if you have not installed
  2. Download the “WP Event Aggregator Pro” plugin from your profile in https://xylusthemes.com/.
  3. Unzip the package and move to your plugins directory.
  4. Log in to WordPress and navigate to the “Plugins” screen.
  5. Locate “WP Event Aggregator Pro” in the list and click the “Activate” link.
